The Society was set up in 1854 and since then we have amassed a substantial number of interesting books and objects that you can’t find anywhere else.
Our Library is held at The Hive in Worcester, where we have a wide range of modern archaeological reports, fascinating antiquarian writing on Worcestershire, and runs of many UK and foreign archaeological journals. There is also plenty of space to study. Find out more.
We also have a vast collection of historical objects, such as pictures, furniture, antiquities, and other objects. As we don’t have a museum to exhibit this collection, it is stored with partners across the county, including Worcester City Museums. Find out more about the objects in our collection.
