If you are a UK Income Tax or Capital Gains taxpayer you can Gift Aid your membership. This means that, as a charity, the Society can reclaim 25p on every £1 that you pay in subscriptions and donations. This extra income greatly helps the Society to fulfil its objectives. Please notify WAS if you want to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. If you pay income tax at the higher or additional rate and want receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on you Self Assessment tax return or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.
